Swellings exist since 1994. After some, time-wasting fluctuations in the line-up, the band's members didn't change since the middle of '96.
Merging New Wave, bowed Punk and infective Morbid-Pop, the music never looses itself to perfection.
The guitar's distorted sound ( " to make your brain really crack " ) combined with the powerful beat of the bass guitar and the drums feels only in the first moment like playing around, so it won't let you stay calm.
One is for sure, in times like ours, where mainstream and trendy sounds are brought to the masses : if you are a fan of typical mass-compatible cultures of youth, ............................... then you never will understand this music, will find it quite boring ................. and if not you will just like it !
Being individual and unable to describe their own music, the engaged quartett Swellings tries to flee from the local swamp by playing many gigs.
